We are not your typical chilean winery

We are free,

we are nonconformists

We want to break the rules, with the status quo. Provoke and make different.

We prefer authentic wines, with personality, than standard products created to satisfy conventions.

We want to show another Chile to the world.

Free
to explore

We value the small growers.

We believe that nobody is better than someone who has cultivated their land for decades to understand the vineyard and know what should be done at every time of the year.

In a country as vast as Chile, with its immense diversity of climates and landscapes, why look at only one vineyard, one valley?

We want to explore the country, working with carefully selected growers, and make single vineyard wines that represent that diversity.

In search of the

(im)perfect wine

We rely on the value of terroir, authenticity, diversity.

We do not seek to make the “best wine” – we don’t even believe that there is the perfect wine – we make wines that expresses their origin, without makeup.

Minimum Intervention

We’re curious, but we respect the past. In a world where time is money, where efficiency is sought and costs reduced, we want to make wines where origin, fruit and soil are the protagonist, patiently and without haste.

We think the less intervention, the better. Less extraction, less wood, everything to achieve authentic products, with soul.

Less is more.

We want to leave the world better than we found it

Casalibre Mínimo

Reduced to the essential

Mínimo is a conceptual wine, representing our beliefs, philosophy and reason for existence.

From the small area of Los Lingues, at the foot of the Andes Mountains and under the influence of the moon and the stars, it is made with use of natural forces and energies, without the use of synthetic compounds in the field, in balance with the ecosystem.

De Otro Planeta

Wines difficult to explain … but that speak by themselves! And surely they did not come from this world…

The purest expression of carefully selected organic grapes, fermented with their native yeasts in clay amphora and without addition of sulphites.

History

Some years ago, traveling out of Chile, I went out to dinner with the family in a restaurant. Just to try something new, I ordered a non-chilean wine. It didn’t take long for my brother to joke on me and ask “Why didn’t you order one from Chile?”

Before I had the chance to answer him, the sommelier heared the conversation, got closer to our table and answered to my brother: ho told loud and clear to the whole table that I wanted a wine less boring than the chilean ones. We all stared at each other, shocked by his comments, especially my mom!

That’s where our mission came from. To show another Chile to the world. We are not happy to be the standard, we don’t just want to satisfy the conventions of the market. We want wines that surprises and excites.
